A lot of Anger Pointed At The Wrong People

When I was in my 20s to 30’s I can honestly say I lived a fairly sheltered life. But when a set of circumstances caused me to change to a very different sort of working environment I was slowly but surely exposed to many challenges about how I thought the world was, as opposed to how it actually is or was. My eyes and ears were opened. Even now though I am still stunned by much that I see and hear from supposedly educated people. Times and circumstances changed and new lessons were learned. At least in my case I believe, but perhaps it is not the same for others? And it’s difficult to have any sort of reasoned discussion with anyone quite often now. Also facts are considered to be subjective and mutable now and the thing called alternate truth which apparently exists now. It’s difficult for me to really clearly define what is happening as my vocabulary often feels inadequate when I respond. I am always worried that my comments might be misinterpreted and misunderstood.

There seem to be so many fake profiles on facebook now. I have just seen one with a verified tick but the profile name bears no relation to the url? Bot perhaps or good old fashioned troll.

Due to a set of unexpected circumstances’ I find I have a rather low key week ahead. I will try and make use of it somehow though if I can. I am keeping up the usual routine as much as I can.

When There Is A New Tune…

You know what must be done. An instrumental called “Last Best Hope”
Not much hope in the news today though sadly. The news media is now pretty much a continuous horror show with no redeeming elements. Trying to ignore it has not really worked for me too well.

Ernest people with good hearts protest and march and demonstrate and the law is invoked at every level but nothing changes. We may well march to show our anger against oppressive regimes and our empathy for those that suffer but the bombs stil drop and the bullets continue to fly. What should we believe in when there is nothing left to believe in? From the old (predominately rich white) men in suits and even the young ones there is no hint of change nor would it ever seem so.

This month I have been mostly beavering away in my musical cave doing a lot of recording with a few trips out to rehearsals and not much else. The days are getting noticeably a little bit longer now though. It’s got to help a bit you would hope. I have felt a bit post viral for a week or so now, but I am not aware of picking up any bugs. Weird.

Bureaucracy and the filling of forms.

I am currently try to help my sister move nearer to me. Its may have to be some form of social housing. So far the amount of form filling has been prodigious! I do wonder how anyone gets through this stuff to be honest. One form which is still not completed has taken 4 hours.
I cannot imagine how for example a homeless person with limited resources would be able to manage this.

Here is some music to fill in in forms by.

Time Running Out

Combatting hopelessness can be a challenging journey, but there are several strategies that may help. It’s important to note that everyone is different, so what works for one person may not work for another.

Remember that it’s okay to ask for help, and progress may be gradual. If you find that your feelings of hopelessness persist or worsen, seeking professional assistance is crucial.

It’s still January whichever way you look at it.
