Bureaucracy and the filling of forms.

I am currently try to help my sister move nearer to me. Its may have to be some form of social housing. So far the amount of form filling has been prodigious! I do wonder how anyone gets through this stuff to be honest. One form which is still not completed has taken 4 hours.
I cannot imagine how for example a homeless person with limited resources would be able to manage this.

So I am 67 years and tears and fears old today. The world is looking very dangerous and unstable again.
Will we be in a 3rd world war by 2027? I could see it happening. Grim.
I am just sitting here feeling extra special crazy today.

Be that as it may at least for today life goes on or rather some lives do for the lucky ones.
I have been putting a lot of effort into working on various musical stuff in the last month and today my concentration is completely gone. My brain feels a bit fried as in more so than usual to be honest.

    Well apart from installing word press, a few other things. I am just off to visit Wilton’s Music Hall in E1 which is becoming very popular at the moment.

Moving on up and Intrusive Thoughts

Got to on keep trying. Apparently. Even when you are running out of steam. And I am a wee bit I must confess. Today I assembled an exercise bike and it was quite a workout to be honest. Outdoor exercises at this season plays havoc with my arthritis, so it a useful winter compromise. Keeping fit when you don’t regularly gig is I find a problem. So I am slowly trying to build up a little bit of stamina again if I can. Also activity can help alleviate or mitigate depression too which is also a very important for me as well. So in-between practicing and recording and mixing there is now exercise to work in as well. It’s worth a try at least.

The worlds in a pretty bad state now and there’s little that an individual can do really. Public out cry about injustice may well make us feel we are doing something, but it seems that we have less and less power to achieve any sort of leverage and change the mindset of those that rule over us. Power is a drug and those that don’t have it are doomed to waste away. There is no sense left in the whole wide world now.

Here’s a world/jazz genre instrumental. It’s called “Intrusive thoughts”

Facebook: Yes it’s useful and mostly benign except for one thing. The endless rubbish that comes through on messenger from spammers and scammers and phishers. I get it in industrial quantities at times. the messages start like this “Hi” or “How are you”.
Nobody tells you why they are getting in contact for example. It’s almost never anything genuine. Ok its a nuisance but it stil annoys me. Ho hum. Also it is always worth remembering that pretty things may be toxic and dangerous. So don’t always believe what you see.

    The familiar cry that it’s not fair echoes through the land as the Tommy/Farage/Brexiteer fanboys and girls (mustn’t be sexist 🙂 ) shout about the destruction of an English society that never really existed. Certainly not one I have seen in my 68 years on this planet to date, fuelled and sponsored by proxies of the wealthy who fund division for their own ends.   • Christmas Thoughts 2025
    Well it’s been quite a year with a few ups and downs as usual. My partners been ill but is now on the mend though still feeling some discomfort from a surgical procedure. At present it’s one of those days, Bathroom sink got suddenly blocked and I had to take the trap off and stuff but now its got a leak underneath so will have to get plumber.     We are al in a time of massive upheaval fuelled by those that should no better. Spineless individuals trying to normalise hate and division and it looks as if they are winning right now. We slowly push forward into the world of ‘Don’t ask and don’t tell’. The last pre Christmas gig this year for the Sonic Boomers. Also the first time I have warn Antlers.   • Just a thought that not much changes.
    I just had a R-eform leaflet through my door this morning. I can’t honestly express how much I despise that bloke. I hope he and Putin don’t stand on any structurally unsound balcony’s together as it would be tragic…  I wrote this in July 2018.   • December begins
    A wobbly start to the month. The overwhelming urge to hibernate is getting really strong at present. A few minor tech problems hit my music making, but I think I have got it licked now. Well almost so we will see. Cubase has decided to crash randomly and I think it is a driver error but who knows. That is why I tend to stick with hardware based recording systems most of the time now.
