The film of the Delta Ladies song suite ‘Refugee’ the title track of the album of the same name. The film ismade for information purposes and to draw attention to the plight of Refugees especially in the wake of the war in Syria. Our understanding of the hardships shown in the various news footage (all credited) was heightened by the Delta Ladies own negative experience of the UK increase in homelessness and the hardening in attitudes to those considered to be outsiders.
