Good, bad and slightly Manky Around The Edges

To be honest its rare unless I am unwell that don’t do stuff that’s a little bit creative/constructive most days but my minds a mystery at times.

Music was my living for a fair while so it would be weird not to. But I always played and made demo recordings way back when and I sold Cds in the days before I was playing regularly in a live band. I never really expected to get on stages then one day I had a dream that I was playing gigs and a strong feeling something different might happen after a night out at a disco. Obviously the desire was implanted deep in my mind A few days latter Vicky called me and said would I like to be in Elephant Shelf which had existed for about a year before I joined in 2004 then everything changed……

Did my thing with The Invisible Folk Club Band at Chesham Fringe. Jonathan Bickley and https://invisiblefolk.com/invisible-folk-club-band at the bank Holiday weekend. A great gig. 🙂
I was way too hot having dressed to play outdoors and it turned out to be in doors due to te weather. I arrived 3 minutes late so joined in half way through the first number (curse of bank holiday M1 strikes again). It was good fun and I had a beer and chatted to lots of people.Only one set about 50 minutes. so finished about 2.40. Chatted with punters and friends for about an hour and had a drink home about 4.30. Annoyingly got a migraine just a few minutes before getting back home. fortunately it came on at junction 13 so I was able to get home through the psychedelia…Flashing lights and a headache. Very rare, for that to happen whilst driving. I might need some prescription sunglasses’ but more lightly stress due to the bad journey going.

Well, thats life. I really do like playing with Jons band. We are in Olney in June: St.Peter and St.Paul – Olney 7pm Saturday 28th June 700th anniversary Church Ale and Hog roast. https://invisiblefolk.com/invisible-folk-club-band

Mostly I am good but a bit tired. I woke up at 06.00. I seem to have fallen into a 6.5 hour sleep pattern in the last few weeks. The relentless march of time I guess.

Wouldn’t it be nice to get all the SPADS and lobbyists working for private companies’ CEOs out of politics… Banish them all to be sheep farmers in the Faroe isles or similar.

Here’s a new tune from me:
