Changes a foot and Elsewhere too

Well I now have glasses. I last wore glasses 50 years ago and its a little weird getting used to it as you might imagine. And yet another sign of the inevitable passing of time. I seem to have gained a bit of weight in the last few weeks too. I have a new release on Amazon, Apple and Spotty and all the usual suspects at the end of month called “Just a Little Hope Left”. I will post links nearer the date. We had a mini monsoon this morning and the seasons are now starting to change finally. So its business as usual for the moment.

Very Warm October Continued

Yep, its warm. I played a gig with Martin Day in Sawbridgeworth at a place called the Gallery.
Fun and mellow, a typical lunchtime gig. Pleasant weather on the drive there and back which is mostly cross country and the landscape looked very well in the autumn light. Not much to report today otherwise.

Here is a new tune from me. Its a bit of a weird one.

Meanwhile in the rest of the world, war and more war. Maybe there is hope?

  • Luke 6:27-31 But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you.
  • 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
