Reasons to be not so cheerful

Writes Andy Bodle,

The UK’s vote to exit the European Union has created many uncertainties. Will the country be better off, or worse? Is the UK a xenophobic, retrogressive nation, or a brave, proud, forward-looking one? Can the Conservatives and Labour remain united in this time of turmoil? Will anyone be able to afford to go on holiday again?

Worth a read as its mind blowing….

Fake news well there’s a lot of it about

Quite shocked to today to find someone transgendered on my facebook friend list sharing anti-immigrant/migrant hate speech videos which are purporting to be feminist. The information about events given in the video is mostly inaccurate and seems to be based in part on allegations which were later admitted to be false and one occasion fabricated for political ends.  I watched excerpts from further videos on the same channel which seemed to be of similar nature but presented information in such a way it seems as to deliberately incite fear. Having incited said fear he then goes on to talk about the rise of the new right in europe and how this is supposed to protect people.

At present there is a lot of propaganda masquerading as news.

If you want to get accurately information about events in the news http://uk.reuters.com/ is one of the best news sources. Not some bloke who does not even give his name on his youtube channel.

This sort of stuff is divisive and lightly to insight hate crimes and does nothing to further the course of integration human rights or feminism presented in this form.
