{"id":152795,"date":"2019-12-03T18:37:26","date_gmt":"2019-12-03T18:37:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.glass-cage.com\/dianas_blog\/?p=152795"},"modified":"2019-12-03T18:37:26","modified_gmt":"2019-12-03T18:37:26","slug":"getting-out-of-poverty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glass-cage.com\/dianas_blog\/2019\/12\/03\/getting-out-of-poverty\/","title":{"rendered":"Getting out of poverty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The caller told James O&#8217;Brien about getting out of poverty &#8211; and listeners said it was a must-listen for political parties.<\/p>\n<p>John called in to talk about his experience of growing up in poverty.<\/p>\n<p>He said that he grew up with stepfather figures who were heroin &#8220;addicts&#8221; and &#8220;dealers&#8221; and you could not imagine a &#8220;more impoverished estate&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>He said: &#8220;I am one of seven. The other six are all adults now. In and out of prison, drug addicts, alcoholics.
